It serves as a model of sustainability and innovation, meeting the needs of the market while highlighting the value of goat farming.
With scientific expertise, technical know-how, and 35 years of experience, along with state-ofthe-art equipment in both its livestock and processing facilities, it offers innovative products based on goat’s milk.
The fact that the goat has been the primary dairy animal in the Greek region since antiquity—and has been deeply connected to the shaping of Greek tradition and culture—is evidenced by depictions on ancient vases and sculptures, as well as references in Greek mythology, where Zeus is said to have been nourished and played with the goat Amaltheia.
This historical and mythological significance inspired the naming of the farm as AMALTHEIA, in order to highlight and bring attention to a forgotten but important historical truth.
