The company began in Livani, Latvia, where a hostess baked a puff pastry cake with cocoa cream, locally known as “Lady’s Fingers.” Inspired by this, Dzintars Daugulis and his wife Adele opened a confectionery company, making these delicious recipes available daily, not just on holidays. The Daugulis family’s dedication quickly gained recognition, leading the company to expand from a small retail shop to a wholesaler. They moved to larger premises and broadened their assortment, eventually baking bread and opening a bread toast factory. Later, a new biscuit factory was added. Today, one of the company’s most popular products is its range of muffins, loved by customers everywhere.
