• Katakit Group is a Syrian-Jordanian company with its headquarters based in Amman, Jordan, specializing in the production
and distribution of snack foods and beverages.
• Katakit was founded in 1990 by Mr. Mahmoud Al-Anzarouti, who serves as the Chairman.
• In 1991, the company’s first product — a chocolate-coated wafer bar named Katakit, after the company itself — was
launched in the Syrian market. It was a uniquely designed and carefully crafted snack that revitalized the stagnant market
and was enthusiastically received by consumers.
• In the following years, Katakit expanded its operations by introducing several new brands across various product categories,
including plain and sandwich biscuits, chocolate-coated biscuits, powdered soft drinks, and cooking aid powders.
