Hazal was founded in 1995 as a family business in Karaman, the center of Turkey’s biscuit industry. Starting with a 5,000 m² facility and 20 tons of daily production capacity, the company steadily grew despite economic crises and market challenges. In the 2000s, as global competition intensified, Hazal expanded rapidly, reaching 40,000 m² of covered space and 200 tons of daily capacity, exporting 150 product types to 74 countries. In 2005, it ranked third in the e-export category for its exports to Cape Verde. By the 2010s, Hazal had over 500 products exported to 87 countries. Today, it operates on a 120,000 m² site (60,000 m² covered) with a daily capacity of 250 tons. Committed to quality and people, Hazal became part of the Ascilar Group in December 2014, continuing its growth with strong national trust and dedication.
