Our story started in the ’80s where our founders, husband and wife, began selling homemade egg rolls and pineapple tarts. Coupled with positive responses, a growing customer base and an optimistic outlook, our founders decided to form a food trading company.Thus began the story of YLF. To meet the growing demand for our baked goods, we ventured into semi-auto production as well as launched our first commercial products under the brand name IKO – a range of healthy oat-based cookies. This was unprecedented as there was no other similar product in the market at that time.We continued to delight our customers with more biscuit varieties and flavours. Soon it was time for another expansion and we invested in fully automated lines for mass production, joining the ranks of other top confectionary companies, and producing delicious biscuits made from quality ingredients as well as exporting them to other countries.
