Ashwin Nayanar is the entrepreneur behind VOCCA®, one of the homegrown chocolate brands emerging from the UAE’s growing food manufacturing landscape. A former architect with no formal training in chocolate-making, he turned an initial opportunity into a vertically integrated chocolate business, scaling production from 400 kg per month in 2019 to building a 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. Today, through VOCCA® and The Craving Company, he is working to take UAE-born chocolate beyond the region, blending unconventional thinking, product innovation and manufacturing scale to challenge established players in the confectionery industry.
