Sudhakar Tomar

Sudhakar Tomar, President of the India Middle East Agri Alliance (IMEAA) Ecosystem, is an agrifood entrepreneur who has been associated with some of the Middle East’s early agri-unicorns. He leads IMEAA, a multilateral venture-building ecosystem of 30,000+ partners across 20 countries, advancing equitable agricultural trade, entrepreneurship and investment across South Asia and the Middle East.

A longstanding champion of climate-smart and regenerative agriculture, sustainable agrifood ventures and food security, Tomar contributed to the global advocacy that culminated in the UN-declared International Year of Pulses (2016). He has advised governments and international organizations, including the FAO, the Global Pulse Confederation (GPC) and other UN bodies. A globally recognized keynote speaker, he also regularly serves on juries for international start-up challenges and innovation programmes.

Tomar was named among Forbes’ Top 100 Indian Leaders in the Arab World from 2016 to 2020. His honours include the GPC President’s Award (2024), Global Agriculture Award (2019), Business Leader of the Year (2016) Government of Dubai, and the Outstanding Contribution Award (2017) - Government of India.
