Kathy Johnston joined Mirzam Chocolate Makers as the Chief Chocolate Officer in 2016. Based in the UAE for nearly 30 years and working for over a decade in strategic marketing and communications prior to making the leap from the corporate world into craft food; she has combined her lifelong chocolate obsession with a dedication to authenticity, transparency and clarity in food making and marketing. Mirzam is sold widely across the UAE and USA, and has received 21 international awards for their quality dark, milk and white chocolate recipes, as well as for the unique artist driven packaging designs.
